The Rule That Sets the Night
Most of Bangkok stops serving at one or two in the morning. Three zones do not — Ratchadaphisek, RCA and Patpong run to four.
So the last move of the night has to be decided at the start of it.
Two
The Areas
Sukhumvit is the spine, and Soi 11 is the concentrated version of it. Thonglor and Ekkamai are smarter and stricter. RCA is a strip of large clubs with a four o'clock licence. Silom and Patpong is the oldest district. Riverside is the calm one.
Two areas a night, twenty minutes apart. Three turns a night into a taxi tour.

Rooftops
Everybody wants one, and a group of fifteen in shorts loses it at the lift rather than at the bar.
A round for twelve runs ฿6,000 to ฿10,000. Go at nine, in one vehicle, with the table in one name.
Four
Nightclubs and Tables
The rooms fill at half past eleven. A table is floor space with a bottle minimum against it, and the minimum is spend you were making anyway.
Nobody publishes those numbers: in practice a VIP zone runs ฿30,000 to ฿300,000 by venue and by night.

Bands from ten until late, Thai and international, and in the better rooms three across one night.
Our signature venue is a live music club with a private half, and every weekend runs a cosplay theme with the venue's own show troupe between sets.

Go-Go Bars
Three streets: Nana Plaza on Soi 4, Soi Cowboy between Asok and Soi 23, and Patpong in Silom. The named bars on those streets come from Bangkok Nightlife's own list of them, and it moves.
Use them for one stop, early, standing, forty-five minutes, with the van waiting. Carry cash. Photograph nobody.
Seven
Gentlemen's Clubs
A go-go bar is a room you pass through. A gentlemen's club is a room you stay in — seated, table service, and private rooms off the floor with a door that closes.
At our signature venue the rooms run ฿3,500 to ฿15,000 for the night, with a ฿3,000 per person minimum spend for non-members, the liquor package at ฿20,000 and bottles from ฿6,000. The venue's own figures, confirmed with the venue.

The Daytime Half
A villa pool from lunchtime with hosts and a sound system is the best first thing for a group that has just landed. A party-allowed villa is from ฿18,500 a night.
Then the river: three hours on the Chao Phraya, crew and catering, up to sixteen aboard, from ฿48,000, finishing twenty minutes from a club table.

Getting Around
A 10-hour VIP van with a driver waiting is from ฿6,500, and over eight men you need two.
The traffic is the thing first-timers underestimate. A twenty-minute hop at nine is fifty minutes at seven.
