A private pool party in Bangkok
It is the easiest good day of the trip. Nobody is jet-lagged out of it, nobody has to be anywhere, and it is the one afternoon where the whole group is in the same place at the same time. We run it two ways: at a villa with its own pool on the outskirts, or in the pool zone at our signature venue, which is a small nightclub with water in the middle of it.
How a pool day actually runs
- Early afternoon
- The water is the whole point of the first two hours. Sound on, shade up, a bar that someone else is running, and nobody has to drive.
- Late afternoon
- The hosts arrive and the day turns into a party rather than a swim. This is the hour most of the photographs come from.
- Sundown
- Food, the lights come on, and the group decides whether the night goes out or stays in. Either answer is already booked.
- After dark
- Outside music stops at midnight almost everywhere in this city. Inside, in a room with a door, it does not — which is why the pool day and the private room belong to each other.
The pool zone at our signature venue
The PIMP is our signature venue, and its pool is a separate building with its own entrance, its own light and sound, a stage in the middle for a DJ, a live band or a show, and room for a hundred and fifty. Because it stands apart from the club, your guests never have to walk through the club to reach it. Music outside goes until midnight; after that the party moves into the private room next to the water and keeps going. Hostesses, models, food, drinks and entertainment are all arranged on request — including a foam party, which is what most of these photographs are.
The venue has been at the same address since 2011 — more than fifteen years, over a thousand parties and four hundred reviews. That record belongs to the venue, not to us. We are the organiser: we hold the booking, put the rest of the trip around it, and the venue's own number appears nowhere here.

What it takes to put one on
- A pool you are allowed to be loud at. A hotel pool is not one, and neither is half the villa listings.
- Sound and light that belong to the place, so nothing has to be hired, carried in and set up.
- Hosts who are booked for the hours, not borrowed from somewhere else in the middle of the day.
- Someone whose job is the day itself: the ice, the food, the drivers and the hour the music goes off.
A villa day and the venue's pool zone are different days, and most groups with three or four nights take both.
The other two days the same staff run
A private villa party and a private yacht day are run by the same team as the pool zone, with the same hosts. If your group is here for more than a weekend, those are the two days worth adding.
