Private Rooms and KTV for the Group
There are two ways to run a bachelor party night in Bangkok. You can take the group out into the city and move it between venues, or you can close a door behind it.
The second is underrated. A private room means the group stays in one piece for five hours. Nobody is lost in a crowd, nobody is queuing at a bar, the music is whatever the group wants it to be, and the whole night lands on one tab instead of fourteen separate card machines at four in the morning.
What a Private Room Actually Gets You
A room, a door, seating for your number, a sound system you control and staff who serve that room rather than a floor. Drinks arrive by the bottle rather than the glass. The group can be as loud as it likes, which matters more than most best men expect — a stag group at normal volume in a public bar spends the evening being managed, and a stag group in a private room spends it enjoying itself.
KTV, and Why It Works for Stag Groups
Karaoke is the most reliable hour of a Bangkok bachelor party. It is the only part of the night that involves the entire group at once, including the two men who do not drink and the one who is already regretting the afternoon. The PIMP's KTV runs about fifty thousand songs, which is enough that the English-language back catalogue does not run out at two in the morning.
The Shape of a Private-Room Night
Groups usually do one of two things. Either the room is the whole night — arrive at ten, close the door, finish at three — or the room is the first half and a club table is the second. The first is better for a group that has already had a long day, or a group where the stag is being looked after. The second is better for a Saturday.
Which Room, and Where
The PIMP has sixteen private rooms, which is the practical reason it is our signature venue: a group of eighteen that grows to twenty-two on the night has somewhere to go. We are an organiser, not the venue — we book the room, agree what is included in writing, and hand the group over to people we have worked alongside for fifteen years. Other venues have rooms and we will use them where they suit the group better.
What We Need From You
The date, the number of men, the finish time you actually want rather than the one you think you should say, and whether the group wants a room to itself or a room plus a club. Everything else we arrange.
What It Costs
Packages start from ฿99,000 for the group. A private room is normally part of a package rather than a separate purchase, and what it costs depends on the room size, the night and how long you hold it. Give us the date and the number in chat and we will price it for you.
Questions
How large a group fits in a private room?
Most rooms suit ten to twenty. The PIMP has sixteen rooms of varying sizes, so a group that grows on the night can usually be accommodated. Above twenty-five we would look at two adjoining rooms.
Is KTV included with the room?
It depends on the room and the venue. We confirm in writing what is included before you pay anything, so there is no discovery at the end of the night.
Can we do a private room and a club in one night?
Yes, and it is a common shape. The room from ten, the club from around midnight, with transport between them already arranged.
