Where can a group go karting in Bangkok and Pattaya?

A group can go karting in Bangkok at TopKart in Makkasan or EasyKart at RCA, and in Pattaya at EasyKart's two outdoor tracks, at Bali Hai and on Thepprasit Road.

Go-karting is the daytime activity that turns twelve men into a leaderboard, and the groom's lap time becomes the story of the trip.

Nobody needs a licence or any experience. Every track gives a safety briefing, a helmet, and karts graded by speed, from steady to properly fast.

Bangkok's tracks are central: TopKart is a short walk from the Airport Rail Link at Ratchaprarop, and EasyKart sits inside RCA Plaza, next to the clubs.

Pattaya's tracks are outdoor and floodlit, and both stay open until 1am, so the coast is where a group can race after dark.

For a group, the difference that matters is the race format. A walk-in session is eight minutes of everyone for himself. A group Grand Prix has qualifying, a grid and a podium.

Here are the tracks that take groups, with each one's prices as published.

Give us the headcount and the day, and ask Tanner which track fits.

Which go-kart track in Bangkok suits a group?

For a group in Bangkok, TopKart is the track to book, and EasyKart at RCA is the one to fit around an evening at the clubs.

TopKart sits on Phetchaburi Road in Makkasan, and its own price list puts an adult race at ฿700 for 8 minutes of track time, open daily from 10am to 10pm.

The adult karts have 270cc engines and top out at about 75 km/h, Visit Thailand Today reports, and juniors race on a separate track.

Rain stops the track until the marshals have dried it, and TopKart gives a voucher valid for 90 days if a session is rained off.

Regular races are walk-in and weekday evenings fill up, so for a group the booked Grand Prix is how you skip the queue.

EasyKart Bangkok is an indoor track upstairs in RCA Plaza, and its own site lists it open from 1pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday and until 11pm from Friday to Sunday.

Ticket2Attraction's June 2026 guide puts an adult race there at ฿660, and the track runs three kart types.

Being indoors, EasyKart doesn't stop for rain, which matters in the wet months.

Ask Tanner to book the track and the cars together.

Which go-kart track in Pattaya suits a group?

In Pattaya, EasyKart at Bali Hai suits a group that wants to race after dark, and EasyKart on Thepprasit Road suits the group that wants a harder circuit.

Thai Holiday Guide's July 2026 page puts the Bali Hai track about 100 metres from Walking Street, open daily from 10am to 1am, with floodlights for evening laps.

It lists a regular kart at about ฿699 a session and the Fast Kart at ฿1,499 for two races or ฿1,999 for three.

Ticket2Attraction's guide gives the kart types: the Regular Kart is 160cc and tops out at 35 km/h, and the Fast Kart is 200cc, 55 km/h, for drivers 15 and over.

The Thepprasit track keeps the same hours and karts, on a circuit EasyKart describes as its technical one.

Both are outdoor, so rain can pause a race, and closed shoes are required on the track.

For twelve men, the Fast Kart is the one worth paying for: the regular karts are fun for ten minutes, and the fast ones settle the argument.

See Bangkok then Pattaya for how the coast fits the trip, then ask Tanner to hold the track.

How does a group Grand Prix work?

A group Grand Prix gives a stag group practice, qualifying and a proper race on a grid, instead of eight minutes of everyone driving into each other.

TopKart publishes two group formats, both booked ahead.

The Mini Grand Prix is ฿1,600 a driver: qualifying, then a 16-lap race.

The Grand Prix Experience is ฿2,400 a driver: practice, qualifying, then the 16-lap race.

TopKart's own page gives the group size as six drivers or more in one place and eight in another, so we confirm it when we book; for twelve of you, it's never the issue.

EasyKart offers private races too, and its own site describes podium celebrations, an exclusive event area, and formats from a fun session up to a Grand Prix.

The qualifying lap is what makes it. The grid order becomes the first round of insults, and the race settles it.

Put the groom on pole, or put him last and give him the race of his life: either way, the podium photo goes in the speech.

Ask Tanner to book the Grand Prix for your group.

What does go-karting cost for a group?

Go-karting costs a group about ฿660 to ฿700 a driver for one race, and ฿1,600 to ฿2,400 a driver for a group Grand Prix, at each track's published prices.

At TopKart, a second race the same day is ฿630, a third ฿560, and every race after that ฿490, for the same driver.

A 10-race TopKart pass is ฿5,000 for an adult, valid for 90 days, though it's one driver's pass, not one to share.

At EasyKart Bangkok, an adult race is about ฿660, per Ticket2Attraction's June 2026 guide.

At EasyKart Pattaya, a regular kart is about ฿699, and the Fast Kart is ฿1,499 for two races, per Thai Holiday Guide.

TopKart adds ฿60 for a balaclava to keep and ฿50 for shoes and socks, if anyone turns up in sandals.

Prices change with promotions, so we confirm them with the track on the day we book.

The cars are the other cost. A party van between Bangkok and Pattaya is ฿3,500 each way, and in Bangkok we match the cars to your plan.

See what a Bangkok bachelor party costs for the rest of the trip.

Ask Tanner to price the racing and the cars as one.

What are the rules at a go-kart track?

The rules at a go-kart track in Thailand are short: closed shoes, a helmet, the safety briefing, and nobody drives after a drink.

Wear closed shoes. Sandals and flip-flops aren't allowed on the track at EasyKart, and TopKart sells shoes and socks at the counter.

Every session starts with a safety briefing. At TopKart it's a video and a word from the marshal; at EasyKart, staff watch every race and can stop a kart remotely.

Age and height limits apply to the fast karts: TopKart's adult kart is for drivers 14 and over and at least 140 cm, and EasyKart's Fast Kart for drivers 15 and over.

No driving licence is needed for any of it.

Don't drink before you race. A track can refuse anyone who has been drinking, and a kart at 75 km/h is no place for a beer.

Treat the bumping as the track does: a nudge is racing, a ram gets you black-flagged, and the marshals decide which is which.

Bring the competitive one a sense of humour. Someone always thinks the kart was slower than everyone else's.

Ask Tanner to send everyone the shoe reminder the evening before.

How does go-karting fit into a bachelor weekend?

Go-karting fits a bachelor weekend as an afternoon race in Bangkok or an early-evening race in Pattaya, always before the drinking starts.

In Bangkok, race at TopKart in the afternoon, then it's a short ride to a rooftop for sunset.

EasyKart at RCA is the shortcut: race at 8pm, then walk into the RCA clubs afterwards, sober for the race and ready for the evening.

In Pattaya, race at Bali Hai at about 6pm under the floodlights, then dinner by the beach.

Keep it off the morning after the big party, for the same reason as everything else: half the grid won't show.

Spend the next afternoon at a party villa in Pattaya, and save a yacht charter in Pattaya for the day after that.

Back in Bangkok, the evening ends at the PIMP, our partner club, in your own private party space.

For the other daytime options, see adrenaline activities in Bangkok, or a shooting range in Bangkok and Pattaya.

Give us your dates, and ask Tanner to put the race on the right afternoon.
